I keep telling myself that I'll only study when I want to. And i strongly hold onto this belief that if you're gonna force yourself to study, then you might as well just drop out of school because it only comes to show that it's not something that you're meant to do or should even consider doing. I'm not gonna study just for the sake of scoring in my papers, or pleasing the parentals. No, cause in twenty years time, where is that gonna lead me to?

Is this an excuse for me to not study? yasss. it is.

but seriously, why study about meisosis if you're not interested about Dolly the Sheep? Like.. why eat when you're not hungry?

oh. it's because you need food to survive, just like how you need knowledge to get through life, silly! riiiight, bad analogy.

QUEEN OF GLASS TRILOGY

HOLY MOTHER FUDGE HUDIW! It's official! The first book of Queen of Glass is coming out next year! And you have no idea how excited I am.

To those who do not know who Sarah J. Maas is, she started out as a writer on Fiction Press. I vividly remember reading the Queen of Glass and Six Feet From Paradise (by JD Allen) a few years back on FP. Those 2 were hands down my 2 favourite stories on FP! Unfortunately, due to plagiarism, both authors took their work down from the site. And ever since, I've been following them religiously, via yahoo group/live journal/blog, just to find out if they're ever gonna publish it.

I personally sent an email to the author of SFFP, and she ACTUALLY replied my email, saying that she wasn't gonna give up writing, and that she was trying as hard as possible to get the story out there. I was quite embarrassed honestly cause I didn't think that my email would actually get through to her ;s

Anyway, I'm just so glad that at least one of them is getting the recognition that they deserve.

Mark my words, this book is gonna be HUGE. Look out for it - Queen of Glass ; The Eye of the Chosen. I have a strange feeling that it's gonna attract the fans of HP/LOTR, because it's sorta like a mix between the 2, with a dark fairy tale twist, and a pinch of Kill Bill. IT IS NOT BY ANY MEANS CLICHE OR WHATSOEVER. which is another reason why I love it so much!

Hopefully, it doesn't become overrated like mother freakng twilight. Thank god it's getting published by Bloomsbury (which is also the P.O Harry Potter), and not some dodgy publisher.

HOMIGOD. I don't care if this is a boring post, which I'm sure it is, i just need to release my excitement right now, and what better way to do it than through my blog right. SINCE everyone I know who has/does read FP has NEVER read any of those stories, so none of them would ever understand my excitement. njcikeufhnurei! -.- and I'm sure most of them are getting sick and tired of hearing me talk non-stop about how AWESOME and how much i love QOG and SFFP.

I've been waiting for 3 years, and I am not gonna give up waiting anytime soon. I promise you, that I'd be the first to get my hands on it. cause. it. has been. too bloody long. HELLYEAH.

Dance Goddess

Sonya Tayeh is hands down my favourite choreographer. Swear, she's an absolutely ah-ma-zing choreographer! I esp. love how she incorporates dark elements into her dances, making em very grotesque and twisted-like. It's very refreshing.

This video is 9 minutes long, but i think I've just about watched it like 4 times already. Yeah, you see the lady with the funky hair and baggy clothes? That's her :) I wonder what are the odds of her coming to Malaysia to teach though..

8.02 onwards is a total win.

THE MOON LOOKS LAAAAVLY TONIGHT!

I'd take a picture of the moon but sadly, i do not own a camera nor a camera phone. Perhaps it's time that I start saving up so i can finally buy myself a proper camera. I'd love a DSLR, but that's too expensive. PLUS, it'd be such a burden to carry that around.

Sooooooooo, maybe a Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5 Digital Camera? hmmmm.

I've been keeping this to myself for awhile now. It's almost unbearable. I think. Crocs are the most hideous creation of all times. Why the hell anyone would want to wear anything with holes on them is beyond me. Think of it as having holes on your feet.

The lights are so pretty. It almost feels like I'm living in New York City. Bahah. It's quite fun to wake up at this ungodly hour and just stare out the window. Made possible by the absence of curtains of course.

That is, until I imagine a bunch of Hantu Puchongs hopping around the field, then i get back to sleep. Or at least try to. or just run to the nearest person.

GAH, my mum went to Ikea and did not bother to buy me curtains? what is this?!

But still, the view is beautiful. So serene and calming.
