End of '11

2010/2011 felt like a year on its own.

A lot of new people and new experiences were made. Now I don't know what to expect next year, but I'm sure things will turn out alright. It always does. As it did last year.

Resolutions

1. Do own laundry (& hopefully I won't pile it up until the very weekend to bring home)
2. commit to voluntary work
3. become less antisocial to new people (i'll try)
4. stay at the top of my classes (ATLEAST a 3.2 GPA)
5. lotion everyday (though i can already foresee that this isn't going to last long)

I somehow wish today was already the first of Jan. Can't wait for classes!

Is Non-Vegetarian Food Permitted or Prohibited for a Human Being?

The longest, most factual, interesting all the while, funniest debate I've ever seen.

Dr Zakir Naik can memorize the whole of Quran plus all the other scriptures there is (or was) out there like the Bible, Veda, Manu Smriti, Rigveda, Mahabharata etc. He's pretty much a walking computer, but with more humour.

And as you can tell, this guy got slammed by Dr Zakir Naik. Real bad. Even at the end of the Q&A session, he leaves early because he had "other engagements to attend to." (Uhm. oh..kay)

Niagara Falls

Not to sound melodramatic or whatever, but I cannot believe that Happy Potter is over. Spent the last 72 hours or so, i kid you not, cooped up in my room while immersing myself in the Wizardry World. Blatantly ignoring the cries and shouts in my head telling me to study.

I feel horribly sad for Tom Riddle. It is a pity that he'd never felt love before. All the pain that he had to endure. His mother's death, Tom Riddle Sr's hatred, the orphanage..

I just want to embrace him in a tight hug!

I also feel sorry for Snape. But at least he knew what love meant. Unlike Tom, who was merely disgusted by the concept of it.

i was honestly fine after the release of the last movie. but I've been so down lately. like it has only hit me in the face that it's actually.. over. Months late, i know. i guess i was just in denial. Pretty weirded out the something pure fictional can cause me this much sadness lol... but-

Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, Butterbeer, Chocolate Frogs, Quidditch, animated pictures, Marauder's Map Peverell Brothers, Dumbledore, Death Eaters, The Forbidden Forest, Threstrals, unforgiveable curses, figs, mudbloods, purebloods - They all seem so real, thanks to the brilliant JK Rowling of course.

It's def true though

sick sick sick episode.

watched the second episode of season 7 on youtube. whoever this person is, i love you for uploading.

this time, the mentally challenged person isn't the victim, but the unsub.

this made me uncomfortable. not only due to the eye holes from the acid, but mainly cause of that mentally ill guy. i never really perceived them to be evil. so this made me beyond uncomfortable.

also.

like what a friend said, watching criminal minds have also made me a more paranoid person.

so much evil in the world. can't trust anyone, not even your mentally challenged uncle (not that i have one)

i need to cleanse myself, still feeling extremely dirty and disturbed by this guy.

loving the new season, despite the fact that certain episodes make me extremely uneasy. but i guess that's why i like it.

Season 6, Episode 6

^^ i really don't have much to add on to that. Things I love -

1. This episode. With CM, You get such a variety really, like some episodes are really graphic, bloody, and gorry, some is more psychological, and the others, like this one, is a little sweeter and more heart-wrenching.

2. The song. It was specifically composed for this episode, btw. The chords for left hand is just BDF#G and AC#F#A and it just keeps repeating over and over again whilst the right hand goes on doing it's own thing. It's so simple, yet beautiful. 3. Matthew Gray Gubbler. Can't imagine anyone else as Dr. Reid other than him. My favourite nerd. He's partially schizophrenic and has an eidetic memory on this show. And yes, i do realise that he's just a fictional character, but if you go through his interviews, they're pretty much similar.

4. The show itself. LOVE THIS SHOW AND SEASON 7 HAS NOW BEGUN. AND

5. I just reaally cannot begin to stress on how much I love this show.
